FLAMING WORD – P25
RUTH 1:6
PART 2
6 Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.
With her husband and two sons dead, all Naomi was left with were her two daughters-in-law. We saw in our previous study how the husband, Elimelech, took a decision to relocate the family in Moab when there was a famine in their homeland, Bethlehem-judah.
Bereft of her husband and sons, it was now time to take her life into her own hands and make a life-changing decision.
Sometimes things don’t go as expected. What do you do when the odds are against you?
“Then she arose….”. Naomi arose! My dear, it’s time to arise. Don’t allow the challenges to knock you out. Bible says if we faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small (Proverbs 24:10).
Child of God, arise! You have been through a lot but you are still here, alive, it means God ain’t done with you yet. Take that step of faith, arise! Start thinking of taking that exam again, reapply for a new job, don’t sit and wallow in misery! It is time to arise!
“…..she arose with her daughters-in-law”. So long as Naomi sat, the daughters-in-law sat with her, bemoaning their calamity. The moment she made that decision to “change her level”, the ladies rose up as well!
Oh, child of God, your rising is the rising of others! Let me say it again! Your rising is the rising of others! It means many people are waiting for your manifestation! You can’t let them down! It’s time to arise!!!!!!
